Tips on validating with Vista and Windows 7

Solution If you have Vista or Windows 7 and are experiencing issues validating the software please ensure that you are logged in as admin (right click on the Easy Web Video icon and run the program as admin).

Vista also has added security, so be certain Easy Web Video is able to access the internet through your security and firewalls.

Sometimes even if you are logged in as administrator, Windows Vista and Windows 7 UAC causes some programs to treat the user
as a normal user without admin privileges. In this case you have to turn off the UAC function.

How to disable UAC (User Account Control):

1. Open Administrative Tools in Control Panel

2. Double-click on System Configuration

3. Click Continue to accept the UAC prompt

4. Select the Tools tab

5. Scroll down and select Disable UAC

6. Click Launch

7. Reboot your machine
